Sometimes, all you have to do is give chances. Maybe you're afraid that the person you give that chance to isn't worthy of it and will turn against you... But honestly, how sure are you of that? It can go either way, 1) The person proves to you once again that he/she isn't worthy of the chance 2) The person makes full use of it and you feel bad for being doubtful of him/her in the first place. I think we're all wary creatures, always so doubtful of people's intentions. Maybe it's just the way society is nowadays. If someone hands you a wad of cash, would you take it without having second thoughts? Probably you'd be thinking, "This is too good to be true" or "Hmm what's the catch?" Why can't we just stop second-guessing people and take things at face value? Then... you'd be called naïve. This is the problem!!!!!! The grey area between naïvety and wary is too wide!!!!!!! It's never good to be on either end of the spectrum, so how does one stay in the middle of the grey? How does one judge the worthiness of a person being given a chance?
Gut feeling?
