Allie... She's in love. With this amazing guy she has known for a while now. But this guy, yeah he knows who she is. They're sort-of friends. Thing is, they were together in the past. Then things soured between them so the guy called it off. Clean simple break-up? Well, not really. You see... Allie here thinks she's struck gold with this guy. He's the most perfect guy in her eyes, THE MAN OF HER DREAMS. This guy just doesn't love her anymore cos he can't! Here comes the question, "Why can't he love her? Like why isn't it within his capability to love her? You mean he CAN but he just doesn't WANT to?" You see folks, he just can't. Fullstop. So back to poor little sad miserable Allie boohoo -camera pans to Allie who is wallowing herself in self-pity by eating ice cream out of the tub and watching tv at the same time- Allie just can't get this oh-he-is-so-perfect-for-me notion out of her head. Then where are her friends, you might ask. Yes, her friends have been telling her to move on since God knows how long. They know what kind of evil scheming heartless bastard he is. To no avail, Allie still insists that there is some good in him after all. Why does she still believe in him despite all that he's done? What spell has he cast upon our tragic protagonist?
She loves him, that's all. But will he ever know the extent of her love for him? No. Why? Because it's not written in the cards for them to be together.
