OMG it just dawned upon me. Why bother memorising rap lyrics that will bring me no benefit (besides bragging rights)? So what if I can nail Super Bass? The most people will go is, "Wow you're so good you can Super Bass wow you actually memorise the entire verse like word for word" but yeah that's it. But when it comes to doas and surahs, I can't say I've memorised like tons of them and that's something I should be ashamed of. I am not a good muslim, I'm aware of that. And I told myself I'll take this break to be a btter muslim. InsyaAllah, I will be. Baby steps.
